30 Minutes Before Event Time
We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.
Today we travel direct to Folkestone where we start our Kent Tour with our first coffee stop, we then travel through Sandgate to the Town of Hythe for our next morning stop. Then it’s on to Dymchurch for a one course Fish (Cod) & Chips Lunch at Beach 48, There’s time to sit on the sandy beach or take a short stroll through the village with its many Blue Plaques, shops, pubs and a seafood stall before we travel on to St Marys Bay and New Romney on the coast road towards Dungeness before heading for home.
